This privacy policy gives you detail of how Mr Lawn Limited uses and protects any information that you give Mr Lawn Limited when you use this website.

Mr Lawn Limited is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. It is important to us. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then rest assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Mr Lawn Limited may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page occasionally to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 01 January 2021.

What we collect

If you do not agree to abide by any of the terms laid out here, please cease your use of the website immediately or legal action may be taken.

The company owns all aspects of the website, and any unauthorised use of the website shall be treated as copyright infringement.

Note also that the company will not tolerate any commercial use of this website by any third party; the website is to be used strictly for private, personal purposes only.

Providing the Service

Mr Lawn Limited will start providing services after consultation with you the client.

Because of the nature of the service we provide, Mr Lawn Limited cannot be held responsible for the following:

  1. Seed not germinating because of soil drying out (please read seeding guide), or excessive water drowning the seeds or washing them away, birds or other animals eating the seeds, sudden temperature changes etc. 

  2. Lack of water, lawns need water or they will die.

  3. Regular weekly mowing at approx 5cm height. 

  4. Sunlight, lawns need adequate sunlight in order to grow. 

  5. Pests and Fungus attacks. 

  6. Weeds

  7. New turf dying because of a lack of water, sunlight or proper care. 

  8. Unusual or extreme weather conditions damaging your Lawn. 

  9. Mr Lawn Limited will not be held responsible for any damage caused by its third-party suppliers i.e. soil or turf deliveries.

  10. Mr Lawn Limited will be using chemicals on your property. Please keep animals/pets/children/people off the property/lawn during the application and up to two hours after the application. Some applications may require multiple treatments to be effective. Weed treatments will not stop new weeds germinating after treatment. Mr Lawn Limited will charge for any follow-up treatment that may be required.

  11. Some services like lawn renovations/scarification can leave your lawn looking really bad and can take a long time to recover.

  12. Some products used may stain paving. Mr Lawn will endeavour to avoid spills/stains as much as possible. In the case of a spill/stain, Mr Lawn will attempt to clean the spill/stain with water or chemical products. Mr Lawn will not be liable for the replacement of paving, driveways, tared surface etc. where spills/stains have occurred. Spills/stains must be reported to Mr Lawn within 7 days of the treatment.       

Mr Lawn Limited may at any time change its services that reflect the relevant laws and regulatory requirements. 

During the service, Mr Lawn Limited may take pictures of your lawn that it may use for marketing/promotional purposes. By accepting our service you agree to us taking and using these pictures. Mr Lawn Limited will not publish the address or name of the client on the pictures. 

Clients Property

  1. It is the client's responsibility to inform Mr Lawn Staff of anything that may get damaged (underground pipes, cables etc) while providing the service. Mr Lawn Limted will not be held responsible for any damage.  

  2. Please ensure that we have sufficient space to move our equipment in and out of the property. Mr Lawn Limted will not be held responsible for any damage caused by moving any machinery in and out of the property. 

  3. If you are concerned that your floors/paving may be damaged by the machinery, mud, sand, turf, staff, please cover with protective sheeting. 

  4. Mr Lawn Limited has the right to stop work at any time and leave the property if the job is unsafe, rude client, no payment, weather, technical issues etc. 

  5. Mr Lawn Limited will not be held liable to stones damaging windows, cars etc. It's the client's responsibility to ensure the property is free of any debris that might fly up from the machinery and cause damage. 

  6. Mr Lawn Staff does not have specialised equipment to lift heavy machinery, the client must provide suitable ramps to access the property.

  7. Suitable parking must be provided so equipment and supplies can be unloaded/loaded safely and easily.

  8. Have a suitable area marked out for turf or soil deliveries. This needs to be as close to the working area. Extra costs may incur if extra time is needed to move delivered turf or soil.   

Payment & Price

Payment to be made via Bank transfer, Cash or Cheque. Payment must be made no later than 5 days after the Service. For services exceeding £300 a 10% deposit is required on accepting the quote, 40% on start and 50% on completion. Failure to make payment will result in services being stopped. 

 

It is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the services we sell may be incorrectly priced. This could be either higher or lower, we will contact you and let you know of the mistake and correct it. If an invoice has been processed in error Mr Lawn Limited has the right to cancel the invoice and reissue it with the correct pricing. 

Pricing Quoted can change without notice. As costs go up, Mr Lawn has to unfortunately up the pricing to match suppliers and inflation.  

Issues and Disputes

If you have an issue or are not happy with our services I would like to know about it immediately. Please email denton@mrlawn.co.uk.

Mr Lawn Limited will go out of its way to resolve any issues or disputes for work done. If Mr Lawn Limited feels that the issue cannot be resolved and that it is at fault the client will be refunded only the amount the client has spent with Mr Lawn Limited for that particular service. The client agrees that no other costs will be paid because of the dispute or claim.
